Tech companies cannot get enough of London and in particular cannot get enough of Kings Cross. Google are moving into the new tech clusters that are springing up in the now Trendy area of Kings Cross. Kings cross famous for its station (think Harry Potter) and also in the 1980’s and 1990’s prostitution. But now the region is home to some of the UK’s most prominent Art Colleges and Schools such as Central St. Martins and has whole new artsy trendy vibe to it.
Recently Facebook are looking to hang out in Kings Cross to make the most of the new office space which is coming on stream. The new tech building will have a swimming pool and running track on the roof – much better than any Foosball table that is the staple of any self respecting technology company. Also bike friendly there will be a 2000 square metre enclosure for cyclists to park their machines. So soon, Google, Facebook and other tech giants might be locking horns over the 100 metre sprint.
